Triumph or N&N trailer?
Martin Remorques does not sell Triumph. For the same need, here are the brands sold at Martin Remorques:
Triumph, from Tillsonburg, Ontario, builds dump trailers, deck-over and tilt equipment trailers, gooseneck and utility trailers, in galvanized steel or aluminum. For the same uses, Martin Remorques sells N&N dump, flatbed and tilt trailers, built in Québec, and orders Weberlane gooseneck trailers.

Triumph trailers at a glance
Triumph Trailers is based in Tillsonburg, Ontario, and galvanizes its trailers at its facilities in Durango, Mexico. The brand builds galvanized steel and aluminum trailers used across all industries.
Its dump trailers come in A, C and D series, plus a high-side model. Its equipment trailers range from low-profile flatbeds to Deckovers, with gravity or hydraulic tilt and beavertail. Triumph also builds gooseneck trailers, including a tandem dump, single and tandem axle utility trailers and pintle hook trailers. A Triumph’s series tells you which N&N does the same job.
Triumph dump trailer or N&N Torrent?
At Martin Remorques, the N&N Torrent dump trailer runs from 7 × 12 to 7 × 16 ft, with an 11-gauge galvanized steel box, 23 in sides and 28 in front and rear walls, on a 4 × 6 × 5/16 in tube frame. The telescopic cylinder is 7 tons on the 12 ft and 12 tons on the 14 and 16 ft.
The galvanized axles with electric brakes are chosen by load: two 7,000 or 7,500 lb, two 8,000 lb on 17.5 in tires, two 10,000 lb, or three 7,000 lb on a 7 × 16 ft. The floor sits 30 in off the ground, and the 15 × 72 in slide-in ramps load a small machine.
Gravity or hydraulic tilt
Triumph has gravity tilt and hydraulic tilt equipment trailers. With a gravity tilt, the deck tips under the machine’s weight; with a hydraulic tilt, a pump raises and lowers the deck, even empty or with an off-center load.
At our shop, the 18 or 20 ft N&N Lowland has a 14,000 lb cylinder with powered lift and gravity lowering, a hydraulic pump in an aluminum box and a low 21 in deck, on two galvanized axles with a 4 in drop. The 24 ft Deck Over Tilt tilts with a double-acting cylinder and carries 8,550 lb on a 102 in full-width deck. Weberlane, which we order, also offers the Tilt-N-Load Gravity Tilt and Power Tilt.
The gooseneck trailer
Triumph builds several gooseneck trailers. A gooseneck hitches in a pickup’s bed, above the rear axle: it carries heavier and longer loads than a bumper-pull trailer, with more stability and a tighter turning radius.
At Martin Remorques, we order Weberlane standard or heavy equipment trailers with a gooseneck hitch, three axles, a 10 ft hydraulic beavertail and ratchet rails. For a machine that loads by ramps behind a regular pickup, our N&N HD 7 × 22 ft and C8 Iron flatbeds have an 8 in C-channel frame and spring-assisted stand-up ramps.
A high-side dump trailer?
Triumph builds a high-side dump trailer, for light but bulky material like mulch, wood chips, leaves or demolition debris. The higher the sides, the more volume the box holds on the same floor, without going over the weight the trailer can carry.
The N&N Torrent has 23 in sides and 28 in front and rear walls, with welded plank holders to raise the sides with boards when the load is light. The roll tarp keeps mulch and leaves in the box on the road. For stone, soil and gravel, which are heavier, the limit is the axle capacity, 7,000 to 10,000 lb on our Torrents.
Buying your trailer at Martin Remorques
At our lot in Saint-Ambroise-de-Kildare, in Lanaudière, you see a Torrent’s box, a Lowland’s tilt and a Deck Over Tilt’s deck up close. If you are looking at a Triumph, note its series, dimensions and axles: we will show you the N&N trailer that does the same job.
To buy, we work with National Bank of Canada for bank financing and, for businesses, with Crédit-Bail CLÉ for commercial leasing, and we prepare the application with you. After the sale, our workshop handles maintenance, repairs and equipment installation, and our parts counter finds the lighting, hitch, wheels, tires and winch your trailer needs.
Does Martin Remorques sell Triumph trailers?
No, we are not a Triumph dealer. We sell N&N dump, flatbed and tilt trailers and Laroche utility trailers, built in Québec. For goosenecks, we order Weberlane trailers.
Which N&N dump trailer replaces a Triumph?
For most contractors, the 7 × 14 or 7 × 16 ft Torrent, with an 11-gauge box, a 12-ton cylinder and a double-action gate. For lighter use, the 7 × 12 ft Torrent or the 6 × 12 ft Torrent HD. Tell us the load and the vehicle: we choose the axles with you.
What is a double-action rear gate?
It is a dump gate that opens two ways: as a barn door, to the side, to dump all at once, or as a spreader, pivoting from the top, to spread gravel while driving. Our N&N Torrent dump trailers have one.
Do you have a three-axle dump trailer?
Yes, the 7 × 16 ft N&N Torrent comes with three 7,000 lb galvanized axles with electric brakes, a 12-ton telescopic cylinder and a hydraulic front jack. Three axles spread the load over six wheels.
Can you service my Triumph trailer?
Yes. Our workshop handles general maintenance, repairs and equipment installation on trailers of any make. Call us with the make, year and the work needed. Our parts counter also finds lighting, hitches, wheels and tires.
Can I finance a trailer at Martin Remorques?
Yes. We work with National Bank of Canada for bank financing and, for businesses, with Crédit-Bail CLÉ for commercial leasing. We prepare the application with you; the institution approves it and sets the rate.
