Enbeck or Laroche trailer?
Martin Remorques does not sell Enbeck. For the same need, here are the brands sold at Martin Remorques:
Enbeck Aluminum Products, from Millbank, Ontario, has built mostly aluminum trailers since 2016: single and tandem axle utility trailers, landscape trailers, side-load ATV trailers, enclosed trailers and car haulers. Enbeck trailers at a glance
Enbeck Aluminum Products is a manufacturer in Millbank, Ontario, active since 2016. As its name says, the brand builds mostly in aluminum, a light metal that does not rust: an aluminum trailer is easy to move by hand in a driveway and tows behind a smaller vehicle.
Its range includes single and tandem axle utility trailers, landscape trailers, ATV trailers that load from the side, enclosed trailers and car haulers. If you saw one, note its type and size: that tells us which Laroche, N&N or Ideal Cargo trailer does the same job.
Enbeck or Laroche utility trailer?
An aluminum utility trailer is light and does not rust. The Laroche utility trailer takes the other route: galvanized steel, generally more affordable, protected by zinc from salt and moisture. It runs from the 4 × 8 ft, on a 3,500 lb axle, to the 66 in × 10 ft, on two 2,000 lb axles.
Its rear ramp loads the mower, snowblower or ATV, and its triple tongue strengthens the hitch. The floor is 5/8 in plywood on the 4 × 8 and 4.5 × 8 ft, with 13 in sides and a top rail, and treated planks on the 66 in × 10 ft, which also has four floor rings and a jack wheel.
A landscaping trailer
Enbeck builds landscape trailers. For a landscaper hauling a commercial mower, our N&N 7 × 20 ft flatbed has 12 in open sides, 48 in split mesh ramps and two 5,200 lb galvanized axles with electric brakes, with a 2 × 8 in hemlock floor 24 in off the ground.
For a smaller crew or a homeowner, the 66 in × 10 ft Laroche carries a riding mower thanks to its rear ramp. And to dump soil, mulch or stone, the compact, fully galvanized N&N Torrent HD 6 × 12 ft has an 11-gauge box and a 7-ton telescopic cylinder.
Side loading or rear ramp for an ATV
Enbeck builds ATV trailers that load from the side: you drive the ATV on sideways, without backing up to a ramp. At our shop, the ATV loads from the rear, onto the open 66 in × 10 ft Laroche, or into the enclosed Ideal Cargo Sport Zone, whose door folds into a 2,000 lb ramp, with four 5,000 lb floor anchors.
The enclosed trailer keeps the ATV dry and serves as locked storage between outings. And if the ATV is the one doing the towing, we order the Weberlane ATV340, ATV350 and ATV360T, with a gravity dump box and a 1,200 to 1,500 lb capacity, for firewood and work at the cottage.
Hauling a car: flatbed or tilt?
Enbeck builds aluminum car haulers. For a car, the loading angle matters more than anything: a rocker panel or a front bumper quickly scrapes the top of a ramp that is too steep, especially on a low car.
At our shop, the 18 or 20 ft N&N Lowland has a 21 in deck that tilts: the car loads without ramps, at a gentle angle, and you winch it on using the winch plate. Its 82 in between the fenders fits most cars. We also order Weberlane Tilt-N-Load tilt trailers, including the Gravity Tilt, which lowers on its own as the car drives on, available hot-dip galvanized.
Buying your trailer at Martin Remorques
At our lot in Saint-Ambroise-de-Kildare, in Lanaudière, you compare a Laroche utility trailer, an N&N flatbed and an Ideal Cargo Sport Zone with its ramp down. If you were looking at an Enbeck, tell us which one: we will show you the trailer that does the same job.
To buy, we work with National Bank of Canada for bank financing and, for businesses, with Crédit-Bail CLÉ for commercial leasing, and we prepare the application with you. After the sale, our workshop handles maintenance, repairs and equipment installation, and our parts counter finds the lighting, hitch, wheels, tires and winch your trailer needs.
Does Martin Remorques sell Enbeck trailers?
No, we are not a Enbeck dealer. We sell Laroche utility trailers, N&N flatbed and dump trailers and Ideal Cargo enclosed trailers, built in Québec.
Which trailer should I choose for an ATV?
For an open trailer, the 66 in × 10 ft Laroche, with a rear ramp and four tie-down rings. To travel dry, the Ideal Cargo Sport Zone, with a 2,000 lb ramp door and floor anchors. For a trailer the ATV tows itself, the Weberlane ATV models, on order.
Single or tandem axle utility trailer?
One axle is enough for a 4 × 8 or 4.5 × 8 ft trailer: it is lighter and easier to move by hand. Two axles, like on the 66 in × 10 ft Laroche, give more stability on the road and spread a long load better, like a mower or an ATV.
Is a galvanized utility trailer heavier than an aluminum one?
Yes, at equal size, steel weighs more than aluminum. In return, a galvanized utility trailer generally costs less and takes hits well. For a 4 × 8 ft, the weight difference rarely matters: we check it against your vehicle’s capacity.
Can you service my Enbeck trailer?
Yes. Our workshop handles general maintenance, repairs and equipment installation on trailers of any make. Call us with the make, year and the work needed. Our parts counter also finds lighting, hitches, wheels and tires.
Can I finance a trailer at Martin Remorques?
Yes. We work with National Bank of Canada for bank financing and, for businesses, with Crédit-Bail CLÉ for commercial leasing. We prepare the application with you; the institution approves it and sets the rate.
