K-Trail or N&N trailer?
Martin Remorques does not sell K-Trail. For the same need, here are the brands sold at Martin Remorques:
K-Trail, from Montmagny, builds galvanized steel trailers: utility trailers, dump trailers including the high-capacity Goliath, Tag and gooseneck flatbeds, tilt trailers and scaffolding trailers. For the same uses, Martin Remorques sells N&N dump and flatbed trailers and Laroche utility trailers, built in Québec, in Saint-Ambroise-de-Kildare.

K-Trail trailers at a glance
K-Trail is based in Montmagny, on the Côte-du-Sud, and builds its trailers in galvanized steel. Its series are named Big Goose, Deck, E Series, Goliath, K Series, Pro Series, Tag and Tilt: the name of a K-Trail in an ad already tells you what type of trailer it is.
Its range runs from utility trailers to heavy machinery: dump trailers, including the high-capacity Goliath, flatbeds, the Tag flatbed for heavy machinery, a custom-built gooseneck flatbed, a gentle-slope tilt trailer, the Tilt for small equipment and a scaffolding trailer. Its series and capacity tell you which N&N replaces it.
Goliath dump or Torrent 7 × 16
K-Trail’s Goliath is a high-capacity dump trailer. At our shop, the biggest dump trailer is the 7 × 16 ft N&N Torrent: an 11-gauge galvanized steel box, 23 in sides, 28 in front and rear walls and a 12-ton telescopic cylinder. The heaviest-duty model rides on two 10,000 lb galvanized axles, with 17.5 in tires and electric brakes.
Its double-action rear gate opens as a barn door or a spreader to spread gravel, the roll tarp covers the load on the road and the 15 × 72 in slide-in ramps load a small machine. A 36 in rear stabilizer leg keeps the trailer steady while dumping, and the 15 A smart charger keeps the pump battery ready.
Tag flatbed or N&N HD flatbed
K-Trail’s Tag flatbed is aimed at heavy machinery. At Martin Remorques, the N&N HD 7 × 22 ft flatbed has an 8 in C-channel frame, two 8,000 lb galvanized axles on 17.5 in tires with electric brakes, and 24 × 60 in spring-assisted stand-up ramps with an adjustable support leg.
The C8 Iron 7 × 22 ft, on three 7,000 lb axles, spreads the load over six wheels. Both have a 2 × 8 in hemlock floor 27 in off the ground, welded 5/8 in D-rings, stake pockets with a tie-down rail, a 2 ft galvanized diamond plate dovetail and an 11 × 11 × 46 in aluminum box on the tongue.
The Laroche 4.5 × 8 utility trailer
K-Trail also builds utility trailers. Ours is the Laroche, galvanized and built in Québec. The 4.5 × 8 ft gives 6 in more than the 4 × 8 for furniture, renovation materials and garden equipment, with 13 in sides and a top rail, a 5/8 in plywood floor and a rear ramp.
It comes with a 2,000 lb axle and 13 in wheels, for light loads, or a 3,500 lb axle and 14 in wheels. Its triple tongue strengthens the hitch, and galvanizing spares it the paint touch-ups after winter. For more length, the 66 in × 10 ft has two 2,000 lb axles.
A trailer for scaffolding and ladders
K-Trail builds a scaffolding trailer. For a painter, a roofer or a siding contractor, the question is how to carry the scaffolding, ladders and tools without damaging them or leaving them in the rain.
At our shop, two options. The 7 × 14 ft Ideal Cargo Work Zone with the contractor package carries ladders on the roof, with a ladder, ladder racks and a catwalk, and keeps tools dry inside, with 80 in of height and double rear doors. For scaffolding frames and planks, the 7 × 16 ft N&N flatbed, with its side stake pockets and tie-down rail, loads from the sides as well as the back.
Buying your trailer at Martin Remorques
At our lot in Saint-Ambroise-de-Kildare, in Lanaudière, you see a 7 × 16 ft Torrent’s box, an HD flatbed’s ramps and the Laroche utility trailers. If you are looking at a K-Trail, note its series, length and axles: we will show you the trailer that does the same job.
To buy, we work with National Bank of Canada for bank financing and, for businesses, with Crédit-Bail CLÉ for commercial leasing, and we prepare the application with you. After the sale, our workshop handles maintenance, repairs and equipment installation, and our parts counter finds the lighting, hitch, wheels, tires and winch your trailer needs.
Does Martin Remorques sell K-Trail trailers?
No, we are not a K-Trail dealer. We sell N&N dump, flatbed and tilt trailers and Laroche utility trailers, built in Québec. For high capacity, see the 7 × 16 ft Torrent.
What is the biggest N&N dump trailer you carry?
The 7 × 16 ft Torrent, with an 11-gauge box, 23 in sides and a 12-ton telescopic cylinder. Depending on the load, it rides on two 7,000 to 10,000 lb axles or three 7,000 lb axles, all galvanized with electric brakes.
Which N&N trailer for a landscaper?
The 7 × 20 ft flatbed with 12 in open sides and split mesh ramps carries the mower and tools; the 7 × 12 ft Torrent dumps soil, mulch and stone. Both have galvanized axles with electric brakes.
Does a galvanized trailer need maintenance?
Less than a painted trailer, but yes: rinse off the salt in spring, grease the bearings, check the tires, brakes and lights, and retighten the bolts. Our workshop does this maintenance for every make.
Can you service my K-Trail trailer?
Yes. Our workshop handles general maintenance, repairs and equipment installation on trailers of any make. Call us with the make, year and the work needed. Our parts counter also finds lighting, hitches, wheels and tires.
Can I finance a trailer at Martin Remorques?
Yes. We work with National Bank of Canada for bank financing and, for businesses, with Crédit-Bail CLÉ for commercial leasing. We prepare the application with you; the institution approves it and sets the rate.
